My name is Anthony Ellinos and I’m from Youngstown Ohio.
I am currently majoring in computer science but I’m not entirely sure on what exactly I want to do afterwards.
One of my main role models is Elon Musk as he began his journey as a small entrepreneur and suddenly became the CEO of two major companies, SpaceX and Tesla.
One of the main reasons he inspires me is that he likes to take risks.
A risk he took recently was purchasing 1.5 billion dollars’ worth of bitcoin because he believes that the future of currency lies in crypto.
Elon also took to twitter and began to start the uprise of dogecoin which skyrocketed every time he talked about it.
The crypto has even gone up over 20% from just one of his many tweets.
The high school I graduated from was Cardinal Mooney which was where I met a lot of my closest friends. During high school I played basketball all 4 years and I was really dedicated to it.
One hobby I've had throughout my enire life is playing video games. I was first inspired by my older cousin to play video games when I was around the age of 5.
He always played then when he had free time and sometimes, he would let me play as well.
One of the first games I saw him play was a sonic game which I was obsessed with.
I could sit there for hours playing this game nonstop without breaks.
The emotions I felt while playing this game were excitement and pure joy.
Since then, video games have come a long way from Minecraft
to Call of Duty to Halo, and so on.
To this day I still play video games for long periods of time just to forget about everything else going on in the world.
I have also played for money for a few months and managed to gain over $70 but in the end, I had lost it all.
Another hobby of mine is working out, which is something I enjoy greatly.
I first started lifting last year during the month of February.
But with the recent outbreak of COVID I had to stop going to Creekside because everything was shut down.
This then made it difficult to get heavy lifting in since I didn’t have any equipment at all besides two little dumbbells.
This year though I started lifting 5-6 days a week after my basketball season ended.
The gym, just like video games is a way for me to “escape from reality” and all other things.
